Our 3 weeks in Singapore are up, we’re moving on first thing in the morning. Although we have done a fair bit of sightseeing here, the bulk of our time has been spent preparing for the journey ahead. However, I must admit that Sara’s definitely been more productive with her use of downtime than myself. You could say that I’ve been distracted. It’s been a long time since I’ve been on this side of the world and I’m still dealing with some culture shock. With that said, I am excited and ready for the next step.
I’ve had a great time here so far and we plan to come back at the end of our trip. I just want to say Thank You to all of Sara’s friends and family for welcoming me to Singapore. I am especially appreciative of the hospitality extended to us by Sara’s Auntie Tina and Uncle Trevor. The short video above was taken from their balcony when I was jet-lagged and would wake up at 4am.
Our next stop is Malaysia. We’ll be making our way to the border tomorrow before catching a bus from Johor Bahru to Mersing located on the southeast coast of Malaysia. Finally, we will take a ferry to Tioman Island right of the coast for a 4-night stay in what many would call paradise. That’s the plan anyway, let’s see if the weather agrees!
